The Railway Research Institute hosted a delegation of Georgian railways representatives

On 13 and 14 July, the Railway Research Institute hosted a delegation of Georgian railways representatives, who were introduced to the scope of the Institute's activities carried out by our departments, laboratories and the Quality and Certification Centre.

The guests toured our facilities and saw the equipment and instruments used in research work, and also visited the IK Experimental Track Operation Centre in Żmigród, where they were able to learn about the different types of research work and tests that are conducted there.

The IK facilities and the presentations given by the IK staff enjoyed great popularity and two persons  from Georgia are planning to do a traineeship at the Institute.
