The Railway Research Institute is a Notified Body No. 1467

The Institute is Notified Body No. NB 1467 to the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/797 of 11 May 2016 on the interoperability of the rail system in the European Union

The Railway Research Institute was the first in Poland to be granted authorization by the Office of Rail Transport to conduct certification activities in the legally regulated area in accordance with the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/797 of 11 May 2016 on the interoperability of the rail system in the European Union, necessary for the European Commission’s notification and therefore was included in the list of notified bodies on the NANDO website as Notified Body No. 1467.

The scope of authorization and notification covers all subsystems, interoperability constituents and all conformity assessment modules.
