Convention of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology

On 3 June, Director of the Railway Research Institute Dr. Andrzej Żurkowski was appointed by the Dean, Professor Dariusz Łydżba,  to the Convention of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology for the period of 2016-2020. The ceremony of handing the appointment took place at Wrocław University of Technology on 29 March.

The Convention is a consultative body and supports the Faculty’s activities. The Convention’s competence involves:

1) issuing opinions on the Faculty’s directions of activities;

2) supporting the Faculty in its development activities;

3) issuing opinions on employers’ expectations to the Faculty’s graduates;

4) promoting the Faculty activities in Poland and abroad;

5) issuing opinions on matters regarding the Faculty cooperation with economy;

6) issuing opinions on other matters voiced by the Dean.
