Letter of intent signed between the Railway Research Institute and Control Process S.A.

On 12 September, a letter of intent was signed between the Railway Research Institute and Control Process S.A. at the premises of the Railway Research Institute, at 50 J. Chłopickiego street in Warsaw.

The objective of this agreement is to define cooperation conditions concerning common undertakings for the development of railway electrical power engineering, including the principles of signing contracts covering details regulating conditions to implement particular enterprises.

The signing of the above document will enable the implementation of initiatives in the following areas:

1. DC switching equipment,
2. electric traction supply system of 25kV 50Hz,
3. systems of monitoring and limiting energy consumption by rail transport,
4. energy storage systems powered with renewable energy sources,
5. the Parties’ application for co-financing Initiatives from external financial instruments.
