The signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Military University of Technology and the Railway Research Institute
On 11 May 2022, the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Military University of Technology and the Railway Research Institute took place at the Institute of Electronic Systems of the Electronics Faculty of the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology in Warsaw.
The cooperation will be pursued in the area of:
- student or research internships in in the Railway Research Institute’s specialized laboratories,
- joint organisation of scientific seminars for scientific, research and technical employees, doctoral students and students,
- mutual participation in scientific and technical conferences,
- presentation of achievements and exchange of experience in the field of scientific research.
The agreement was signed by the Director of the Railway Research Institute D.Sc. Eng. Andrzej Massel, and the Vice-Rector for Development of the Military University of Technology WAT Prof. D.Sc., Col. Jacek Świderski.
The meeting was also attended – on behalf of the Military University of Technology by: Dean of the Faculty of Electronics Prof. D.Sc.,Eng. Ryszard Szplet, Director of the Institute of Electronic Systems WAT Prof., D.Sc. Eng. Zbigniew Watral, , Deputy Director of the Institute Dr. Eng. Michał Wiśnios and WAT Prof. D.Sc. Eng. Jacek Paś, on whose initiative the agreement was signed. The Railway Research Institute, apart from Director of the Railway Research Institute D.Sc. Eng. Andrzej Massel, was also represented by Deputy Director for Railway Interoperability IK Prof. D.Sc. Marek Pawlik, Head of the Automation and Telecommunications Laboratory Dr. Eng. Marek Sumiła, and Deputy Head of the Automation and Telecommunications Laboratory M.Sc. Patryk Wetoszka.
The signed agreement is aimed at scientific and didactic cooperation, mutual acquisition and implementation of R&D and educational projects.
