PRESTIGIOUS OBERBREMSRÄTE AWARD FOR PAWEŁ URBAŃCZYK, PH.D. ENG., IK EMPLOYEE

On 7-9 June, employees of the Rolling Stock Testing Laboratory of the Railway Research Institute participated in the 18^th Oberbremsrätekonferenz and 16^th International Central European Symposium organized by Knorr-Bremse. During this international conference, our employee Paweł Urbańczyk, Ph.D. Eng. was awarded an Oberbremsräte title, a prestigious distinction which confirms the recognition of our specialist’s outstanding competence regarding rail brakes on the international arena.  Another employee of our Institute, Witold Groll, M.Sc. Eng. presented the candidate’s profile. The award was presented by Frank Minde DB AG representative and Manfred Reisner, Managing Director of Knorr-Bremse GmbH.
