Innotrans Berlin trade fair 2022
The InnoTrans trade fair, in which the Railway Research Institute once again participated as an exhibitor took place in Berlin from 20 to 23 September 2022. That was the thirteenth edition of the fair, which is the world's largest trade fair dedicated primarily to rail transport. InnoTrans is a meeting place for manufacturers, representatives of public and private transport companies, engineers, decision-makers from local authorities and ministries of transport from all over the world, as well as railway enthusiasts.
Located on an impressive 108,000 m2, the fair attracted 2,770 exhibitors from 56 countries worldwide and nearly 150,000 visitors from 149 countries. There were also displayed 100 vehicles in an outdoor exhibition area with 3.5 km of rails.
Attending trade fairs and promoting our services internationally is a crucial part of the Institute's development, marking our strong position on the market and creating a unique opportunity to make new contacts. It gives us the possibility to explore the market, as well as to assess the offer, prices and quality of our services in comparison to other research units.
Our stand was visited by many guests from both Poland and abroad, representatives of our long-standing contractors and companies interested in establishing cooperation.
Representatives of the IK management, departments’ and laboratories’ managers and specialists took part in discussions with visitors. The presence at the fair is important for gaining and maintaining contacts with the various foreign entities with which IK jointly participates in the preparation and submission of project proposals.
