TRANSFEU International Conference and Workshop

NEW FIRE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS IN SURFACE TRANSPORT VEHICLES

The International Conference was held on 10th May 2012 in Instytut Kolejnictwa Headquarters in warsaw. Persons from: Poland, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, FYROM, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and other  interested in fire safety of rolling stock, trams, underground, etc. representing: National Bodies, Institutes, Operators, Vehicle Producers, Producers of non-metallic materials, components and elements for vehicles wre invited to join the combined with workshops conference.

Aim of Conference:

• Dissemination of Transport Fire Safety Engineering in the European Union  Project (acronym: TRANSFEU) -FP7-SST-2008-RTD-1. www.transfeu.eu
• Integration of the projects results in the development of new and existing vehicles.
• Discussion about  implementation of new fire safety requirements in the field of surface transport in EU.
